The King Center

"The King Center serves as the premier resource dedicated to educating a global network of allied individuals and organizations working collectively using the philosophy and methods of nonviolence to create the Beloved Community that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. envisioned."

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change is a programmatic nonprofit located in Atlanta, Georgia that serves as a living-memorial to America’s pre-eminent nonviolent leader.  The King Center works to prepare new generations to apply Dr. King's teachings of nonviolence in their quest for social change and coordinates local, national and global efforts aimed at educating the masses on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
